Whimsical Tree House
Small, whimsical and a tad bit wonky fairy house on a tree. The lights turn on when the fairies are at home and their path upstairs is lit as well. Perfect gift for a lover of magic and whimsy. Could be used for keeping your sewing pins in one place as well, just plant them on the hill :)
This little house was hand sculpted by me from light-weight air drying paper clay, coloured with acrylics and mounted on top of a tree I needle felted around an old found tree branch. Everything sits in a small ceramic dish I decoupaged. It takes quite a bit of time to needle felt anything and as with everything else, it took me days to finish this. I kinda don’t keep track of time spent because I really enjoy the process and I hope you will be able to feel it. No rushing on these things!
• approximate size: W x L x H = 9,5 x 9,5 x 21,5 cm
• materials: small soufflé ceramic dish, acrylic paint, air drying paper clay, wool, thread, old tree branch (found on the floor on my beloved forest walks), glue, magic & love
• please note that colours vary from one display to the other so some difference in colour may occur
• if you happen to have moths at home they might inhabit the wool so in this case, a glass dome would be a good idea to put over
